Teaching and Learning Program

Our Teaching and Learning program focuses on equipping our students with essential Literacy and Numeracy skills.

Lessons are engaging and are targeted at the individual needs of each student so that all students can achieve success.

Students participate in a range of specialist classes each week, including Science, Physical Education, Performing Arts, Visual Arts and Italian. Students thoroughly enjoy engaging with these specialist subjects and developing their knowledge and skills.

Student Achievement Data

Our recent NAPLAN results indicate that our students achieve a high level of success in all areas. Our Grade 3 and 5 students achieved above similar schools (Percentage of students in the top 2 bands) in all 5 NAPLAN tests , which was very pleasing.

This excellent student achievement data is a reflection on the dedication of our teaching and support staff, who strive hard to support the individual needs of students. Staff work collaboratively to assess student understanding and plan differentiated, engaging lessons. Our aim to have all students achieve success every lesson.
